Site Rules

While visiting Heal Somerset you will be expected to follow the rules listed below. This is to ensure that Heal Somerset remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone involved, nature included.

  • We ask that you drive slowly and carefully on site and in the surrounding areas.

  • The only available parking is in the designated car park on site and must be pre-booked, please do not park on the roads or in the surrounding villages.

  • Please do not leave litter in any part of the site or surrounding area. We do not have bins on site as we expect visitors to take any rubbish home with them and dispose of it there.

  • While we love animals, our pets stay at home and we ask that yours do too. Heal Somerset is a nature reserve and wildlife benefits from the absence of domestic animals. Genuine assistance dogs are welcome.

  • There are designated mown paths when walking around the site, please do not stray from these. We ask this because nature needs peace and quiet in order to recover.

  • We ask that you treat all Heal Somerset visitors, staff members and volunteers with kindness and respect.

  •  The site operates a no smoking policy.

For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, if you fail to observe the Site Rules during your visit, you will be politely asked to leave. The responsibility to keep everyone safe is one we all share.

Thank you for your help and understanding. We hope you have a lovely time at Heal Somerset!
