Since acquiring the site at the end of 2022, with the help of staff, visitors, volunteers and surveyors, we've kept a running list of all the species that we've seen on site.

With most of these species, we're only seeing small numbers, often one or two individuals. So, while there isn't yet an abundance of wildlife at Heal Somerset, we're hopeful that the wide range of species we have will only grow in number as the time goes on and the land rewilds.
