Heal is looking for a part-time Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our small but impactful team at Heal Somerset.

About the role

 

Heal Rewilding is seeking to recruit an organised and meticulous Marketing and Events Coordinator.​

 

If successful in your application, you will report to the Learning and Sharing Manager and play a key role in delivering marketing activity across a range of the charity’s programmes and activities. You will also be supporting the promotion and delivery of a comprehensive programme of events and activities.

​

Using your marketing experience, you will reach, inspire and influence a wide range of audiences, raising awareness and support for Heal. A key aspect of the role will be identifying and developing new audiences and promotional channels to help expand the charity’s reach and impact.

​

While the marketing responsibilities will span all areas of the charity’s work, a particular focus will be supporting the promotion of the events programme.

​

As part of a busy and collaborative team, you will also assist in the delivery of events and activities for a variety of audiences, including corporate partners. This will involve practical event logistics, attendee communications, maintaining accurate documentation and providing on-the-day support at events.


Contract details

Salary: £15,120 (£25,200 FTE)
Contract: Part-time, 1 year contract
Hours: 22.5 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend work (if / when required, not as standard)
Location: Based at Heal Somerset, Lower West Farm Barn, Bindon Lane, Witham Friary, BA11 5HH.

Key dates

Roles and responsibilities include:

 

Marketing support

​

  • Coordinate the delivery of marketing campaigns for the charity and events through targeted emails and social media channels

  • Identify new audiences and promotional channels to expand charity reach

  • Identify, maintain and update event listings on third-party platforms

  • Identify opportunities for cross-promotion with partner organisations and networks

  • Coordinate the design and production of event materials such as programmes, signage, banners and digital assets

  • Help with any other marketing activities as may be reasonably required

 
Events delivery

  • Coordinate the logistical and administrative tasks for events including event registration systems and ticketing platforms and ensure accurate attendee records

  • Support the creation of event planning and briefing documents for staff and volunteers

  • Assist in engaging and managing event volunteers

  • Assist with corporate engagement opportunities and lead in the creation of event, volunteering and training packages

  • Maintain organised event documentation, timelines and help with any other duties as may be reasonably required

Part 4 - Special requirements
